Odd the only thing I have an issue with on BFBC2 is the whole you killed me I killed you crap that seems to happen way too much. But I have not had any issues with hit detection, but I do play hardcore more then normal.

Game sucks. I bought a CD key for steam yesterday and I was so excited to get home today and play it. I should not have been excited. Game isn't worth the $27 I paid for it.
Graphics are better in Cod:BO
Multiplayer is forever hardcore. 3 shots and you're dead.
AI is retarded.
Even with very high textures, there are many very very low quality textures. Round objects don't even try to be round.
Single player is very linear.
The game feels weird to play. Mouse smoothing perhaps? Idk how to turn it off, it's not in the options.

All in all, it's a CoD wanna-be failure. Debating crysis 2 or homefront? Get crysis 2, no question about it. I wish I could get a refund.

they did say it was a good game, just not great, and really enjoyed the story apart from the length. 7/10 for the game. i guess if you want SP then look elsewhere

i've been talking to kcuestag off here and he says he really enjoys it.
I changed my mind, the Multiplayer is a bunch of crap.

I agree with you overall, except in the part where Graphics are better than Black Ops, I disagree with that, I find Homefront graphics slightly better, but nothing great at all to be honest. I'm sticking to Bad Company 2 for now...

But yeah, overall, this game is a damn fail, I didn't enjoy at all, already uninstalled.

Not to add, there's also Optimization issues with both Nvidia and ATI.. Game runs like crap, with 1 6970, or with 2 6970...

Also tried on my other rig with a single GTX480, didn't run too good either, pretty crappy performance for such crap graphics.

seems hit and miss for people. some dont like it, some love it, every agrees the singleplayer was to short though.

i bought it for multiplayer only though and it rocks imo. Everyone who thinks it sucks just happens to be bad at it. Until you get alot of ranks under your belt, you arent even playing with the full arsenal in the game.

Thread Starter
I'll probably just stay away from it, way more people saying it has issues more than people are saying it's worth it.

I think I'll just go ahead and buy Crysis 2 (dun dun dun). I think personally I'll enjoy it better. The single player looks cool, the multi player is alright. Nothing special, but it's certainly something to do. Sure DX11 isn't coming with the game at launch but it'll be patched. Also, there will eventually be texture packs, etc.

I've made my decision.

My only problem with the game is the amount of health you have. 3 shots and you're dead? I could really use some Juggernaut or Painkiller right about now. Other than that, though, I think it's a capable shooter. Not a game that will go down in history as one of the greats. But, not a game that'll go down in history as one of the worst.

EDIT: Also, I don't like the fact that the retail copies only install half of the game. You have to download the rest of the game online.

Thats one thing I like about the game. No need to hit an enemy with 6-20 shots before he dies.
