Need a little help oc'ing system - Page 2

Thread Starter
My CPU/nb voltage is 1.134v and my nb voltage is set on auto so 1.1 for nb voltage I believe (sorry I'm at work so I don't know off the top of my head what the nb voltage is but I know it's on auto)

I might be wrong but I believe my CPU/NB is set to between 1.25V and 1.3V.

You probably need more CPU-NB voltage definitely - that's actually slightly below stock of 1.15

so i got home and checked everything cpu/nb voltage is 1.137
i reset everything to stock try to raise fsb with ram at 1600 and would get a bsod set it to 1333 swame thing. changed the cpu voltage to 1.4 and the cpu/nb to 1.3 system would lock up 3 mins in to stress with 210x16 for cpu and cpu/nb at stock, no matter what when i raise my fsb my system hangs or bsod. i also tryed adding some voltage to the nb still a no go
yet with a 200x20 and 1.34vcore on the cpu and 200x14 cpu/nb with 1.137 on the nb and 1600mhrz on the ram its 100% stable with temps hovering between 47-49c load
so i guess ill just ask this question would i even be noticeing any gains by trying to raise my fsb?

I've heard that the gains would be minimal, and sometimes you even take a hit in performance. Though I can't speak to that personally. I haven't done any tests and I am currently running mine at 250MHz. But that cause of my number OCD and the need to have my cpu running at exactly 4.0GHz and 16x250 was the way to do that and still run C&Q.
