4. Both are marketed as being gaming keyboards.
5. Both require intellitype software to access certain features.

They aren't the same keyboard but they are definitely in the same class of keyboards and can/should be compared when deciding to purchase one or the other.
I really can't mind about the supposed class of products, and if they can compared.

I care about the tactile feeling, the keyboard quality, and the additional features.

The X6 is best in class as design, backlit color, useful additional goodies but is one of the crappiest keyboard I ever seen about the tactile feeling.

The X4 has less additional features but is more than a decent keyboard on its primary function.

The reclusa has the usual ugly blue lightning, is a bit bulky but is one of the best dome keyboard i ever touched.

The reclusa is made by razer, X6 and X 4 are made probably by two different oem supplier.

In short they have nothing in common other than the (final) brand

WIN!
It's exactly what I'm saying but the previous message should have already replied to your question.

I own one. It's been great, and I game every day. I would suggest buying it new, not refurbished. I first bought a refurb one, and the "o" crapped out a month and a half later. Got a free new replacement from Microsoft .

I highly doubt Razer is an OEM of any of the products they sell.

They can and are compared because of what kind of products they are. The fact they are distinct is the reason why they are different products but it does not preclude comparison between them. If the X4 were chicken and the X6 were beef, you are saying they cannot be compared because one is a white meat and one is a red meat?

Yes they can obviously compared, what is wrong is the assumption that X6 must be better than X4 because the same external brand and the higher number.
