Would this ram effect my SB build? Does it matter? For $25?

Hi OCN,

I was wondering, would this ram be good for a SB build?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820178333
Which goes for $85 - 15% - $20 rebate = $52

Or should I go all out and go for:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231314
Which is $75 without rebate.
The G.Skill ones run at DDR3 1600 compared toe PNY's 1333. Would I notice a difference? (other than the ~$25 difference?) Also, I assume the most safe measures would be to have ram at 1.5v for SB right?

Thanks OCN!

Or this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231308
for ~$67 after coupon.

Oh thanks. But would the PNY one be any good? Cause it seems like the cheapest for 8gb

um,those are not very good rec. to be honest.
1st one is 4GB vs 8GB in OP's link
2nd one is DDR2
3rd is just too expensive
I would suggest these

Whoa, I actually like those. But would DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) be any difference to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231314
That's DDR 1600?

That ram is too slow at 1066mhz.. get this one instead with 1.5v, 1600mhz and cl9: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231314

sandy bridge system's memory should only be 1.5v (1.6 is max with overclock) When buying memory, choose the one with high memory mhz and low Cas Latency for good performance!

Oh I might jump on that but IDK if its worth the $25 extra compared to the PNY. Is it? Also, what is the difference between this one and the ripjaws X version?

Thankks!

Trust me, the PNY one has CL9 at 1333mhz, that's crap as many'd call it. When I first built my pc I went with similar spec'ed rams and got a 5.5 in windows experience index. It slowed my photoshop experience down to a crawl when applying effects...
