Agreed piracy sometimes brings more attention to a game.

As for myself, I only buy games for the "multiplayer" aspect of the game. I rarely buy games for their single-player storyline. The thought of spending 50-60 bucks on a game that I will beat in less than 4 days is worthless, or a single player that get repetitive. You only need to beat a game once to know how good it is. Trophies suck as is (IMO).

Some people do pirate and access the multi-player aspect of the game too, however their more open to hackers, trollers, etc. Also you have to put more effort in getting into multi-player on pirated servers. It's not worth it.

PC gaming will never die, there are a lot more things you can do with a PC than you could do with a console.
