Overclocking help.

Thread Starter
I have a DX58SO2 motherboard, and a I7 965 Extreme.

I would like to know the best settings to overclock this to 4ghz if not better. I seen on here with different boards with same proc but when i try that my pc does not accept it.

Everyone cpu is different.. so its hard to say what the best settings would be I would just go and start OCing! Try getting to 4.0ghz with stock voltages - since the stock clock is at 3.2ghz. 4ghz is a pretty generous OC
