What case to get under $100? - Page 3

If you get Antec, get the 902 (V3 preferably) because it's much better than the 900, but only get it if you like the looks over the other two. While the cable management is decent (I had no problem with it), the CM 690 Advanced II and the HAF 912 have it better thus giving better airflow.
I personally chose the Antec 902 for the looks for the price (I payed 70 for the non V3). I found the CM 690 Advanced II to be plain looking (unless you get the window) and I couldn't find the HAF 912 Advanced anywhere. But hey, dip the HAF 912 in some black paint, get a window kit, and throw some 200 mm fans in there and you cover the 40 difference between the HAF 912 and its Advanced version which is impossible to find.

Those are the top three in my opinion, the Antec 902 V3, Haf 912 Advanced, and the CM 690 II advanced (get the window kit).

The k-62 and the CM 690 II are almost identical looking but in terms of practicality (cable management, etc) the 690 II wins... by a long shot. I'd get the CM 690 II over the k-62 any day.

I like that. If the build quality is as good as the actual CM version that should be a winner. : and +1 Rep

I thought about it, and was wondering is it a good idea to just get the haf 912 and get fans separately?
Buying the current haf 912 in the sales thread is $47 for me including shipping and get fans from tigerdirect x4 led to get 2 front and 2 tops 120mm. It will total me to $80. Save myself $20. Would this be a good idea?
If buying new, getting from newegg would be $13 more, which totals me to $93.

lol I have the storm scout. I'm looking for something new and the HAF series interest me. I'm putting the scout in another build for my parent's schedule computer since we're using a year 2000 DELL??? <-- yes that old, I'm surprise it's still running.

Haf 922 for sure.

Right at 100 bucks. Plenty of space, awesome cable management, tons of air flow, and room for watercooling.
