I like the way u went intel and went to ati on gpu .
Call me a fan boy but I would prefer a 580 card over most things as of now plus I love physX :].

Bad cooling solution for the standards of this computer.

Wasting thousands of dollars on graphics cards that can't even be used.

Wasting $300 on a high end sound card paired with crappy speakers.

Will most likely require more than 1500w, although I am not sure about the power consumption of the 6990's (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong).

You're not planning on overclocking, which means the 990x is just another massive waste of money.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else...

Oh yeah. $50 for a mousepad...really?

is dat good...
I personally dont know much about watercooling, however alot of people on here seem to have the XSPC 750 rasa RX360 kit, it includes everything you need to cool cpu minus the liquid itself. It is fairly simple to install and you can add GPU cooling too. That system costs £200

Also, I find the build rather silly, I don't invest more then 3 grand into a PC and I usually rock it for about 5 years.

want to know my previous specs?

1GB of ram a 7900m GTS, a turion x64

I could hardly run half life 2 w/o crashes.

I'm probably gonna rock this until ddr4 is very affordable.

I understand where you're coming from. However, the money wasted on all that GPU power can be really applied somewhere else. I mean 4 6990s is WAY beyond overkill. A single 6990 alone could handle everything you throw at it at least for another 2 or maybe even 3 GPU generations. If I were you, I'd try watercooling because it would all your components nice and cool thus prolonging their lifespan. Take a look here and here if you want to learn about putting your dream rig under water. I'm sure the folks over there would be happy to help.
