Keep in mind that Crysis 2 is a DX9 native game so its not that impressive or demanding. It won't be patched with DX 10/11 "features" until later.

It isn't demanding because it's coded correctly unlike the original crysis which was put together with spoons

Crysis 2 also uses NOTHING impressive in the way of graphics features. That contributes a lot to its non-demanding nature.
