Thanks for all the quick responses. I suppose if I keep the 260 and upgrade to sb that would lower that 400 to 500 dollar figure I said. Though then I wont be able to sell my current computer for as much without a gpu

Even if I parse out my parts I would not get much (what...$80 for the processor, $85 for the gpu, $40 for the mobo and $60 for the ram)? I found a 1gb 460 gtx for $130 on craigslist, $200 for 2500k, $80 for ram and $175 for mobo. That would be 300 out of pocket

So waiting would be the best option (finding the maximum price for my LGA775 rig and then getting a SB rig) would be the best option since pumping more money into a LGA775 rig is just throwing money away?
