Hi peeps so far got this baby running at 3.61 @1.28 V running @ 52c under load

my mem runs on a 1:1 ratio at 900 at 5-5-5-18 @ 2.1V

I think I can push it more but do not want to fry my chip it posted at 475 fsb but did not boot windowze...

How far can i safely push my oc ??

Thanks

2.68v and you haven't fried it yet?? Something is off with your numbers... You should be running 3.6 @ ~1.375v

Well as for safely pushing the chip, you can see my clocks/volts in my sig; I'm underwater though and I wouldn't out much more voltage through it. For you, I'd say max volts of 1.38-1.4 and see what clocks you can get. 3.6 is still good for this chip and you'll see the difference.

Got it stable at 3.6 @ 1.360V (CPUZ) so i'm still within intel's spec for this chip the max is 1.3625 right?? Also do i beleive the cpuZ for cpu volts or my bios since i had to set it to 1.425 in the bios?

Thx

BIOS for sure! That's alot of voltage for 3.6.... I got 3.6 stable with about 1.36 set in bios. The 1.3625 is Intel's max VID, it says that all Q84's will run stock clocks with no more than 1.3625v, most run stock clocks at alot less. For example, my VID is 1.2875. The whitepages value for maximum allowable voltage is 1.45v, but I don't plan to come any closer to that until I have an upgrade sitting on my desk next to me.

Could be, you could try a little more voltage on them if 2.1 is stock for them.

Should i try between 2.1 - 2.2 is it a safe range?
If stock for the ram is 2.1, then 2.1-2.2 should be fine.
