Here is my GTX 580, single vs SLI scaling. Im getting about 1,91 in scaling, I dont complain

It's all good brett. This was all in a manner of just good dialogue, really, as I respect your opinions and your contributions throughout this forum.

To answer your question about how many games have had patches fix multi-GPU compatibility/scaling, I remember the first Shift also had similar problems as well that were rectified with a new patch. I can't remember any others in recent memory because, as you said already, many of the issues were fixed with new driver profiles. Not to mention, automatic updating services like Steam often make patching seamless and virtually unnoticeable unless you happened to be paying attention.

Please do share whatever you discover with your developer friend as it would be interesting to know in general how developers make use of current tech to bring their projects to life.
