Might be a dumb question....

but say you have 2 monitors and they're the same size. One has a max resolution thats higher than the other. If you were to play something on both monitors at the resolution of the lower monitors max, would the quality be the exact same since they're the same size and the same resolution? Once again, sorry if this is a stupid question

In theory. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Some manufacturers have a higher standard than others but overall I would say that would never tell the difference. Make sure the refresh rate is the same as well.

Your best to run the screens at there Natve Resolution as this will give the best picture they can supply. Setting higher or lower than this can reduce the sharpness of the picture.

Unless they are CRT, run them at their native resolution.

If theyre LCD monitors you would want to run them at their native resolution which is their max resolution. Since both monitors are the same size and one has a higher resolution than the other, it means the pixels that make up the screen are smaller on the higher resolution monitor, meaning it will give you better picture quality.
