Yeah, it's the same with Zune so I am okay with it though. I want to see how the OS evolves.

Why not? WP7 is completely different than WM6.5.

What makes is a great smartphone OS for dumbphone users? The same could be said comparing iPhone to BlackBerry or WM6.5. Just because somebody is trying something new doesn't make it more or less dumb, though I do feel as if it's trying to get more smartphones into the hands of normal users, like the iPhone. That's not necessarily a bad thing, hopefully people actually get smarter but eh.

My original plan was to get a Focus, but went Android instead (after 6+ yrs of WinMo). WP7 is pretty nice, but the hardware specs on the launch devices like the HD7, Quantum, Focus, Surround, etc seemed a little dated.
That is my only gripe with WP7 devices. The hardware just isn't up to par with Android devices, though I chose the Focus because of it's inclusion of a microSDHC slot. Though I am loving the AMOLED 4" screen.

I want to know if the phone will stream media the same way you can stream and share files through 2 Win7 computers: Enable sharing on particular folders, enter Win7 user acct info, get full access to all files in folder.

I've got an opportunity to pick up a Focus at a pretty steep discount and Media and Office are the only complaints I have with my Atrix.
You can get the Focus with a new contract from Amazon I think for 1 penny, I could be wrong though. Office is as good as any mobile office can be, it's actually quite nice. I do, particularly, enjoy OneNote as well. Though there is a client for the iPhone as well. Streaming from Windows is not possible, at least, as far as I can see, but if you do have a Zune subscription, you can stream music and videos that way. I have one, and I stream music, as well as play the downloaded subscription music I have. I also enjoy that it converts my lossless music into 256kbps files automatically when transferring, so that's really cool as well.

Any other questions?

Your topic was more fun than mine, so I am coming to yours.

Streaming.... I was able to stream files from my computers when I had a Samsung Omnia II. It was rather terrible when the folder contained a lot of files.

I have not figured out how to do it on this phone. I believe that if you can do it, you need an app for that.

When I stream video from youtube or netflix using my wifi, it never buffers after the first buffer.
