Corsair XMS3 vs Dominator, same frequency and timing?

Thread Starter
Been looking for some new RAMs and came across the Corsair XMS3 and Dominator.

Both XMS3 and Dominator have 1600Mhz, 1.65v, 7-8-7-20 timing. However the Dominator is about 40% more expensive then the XMS3 with same spec.

Do anyone know what's the differences between the XMS3 and Dominator considering that the frequency, timing, and voltage is the same?

Sexy heatsinks and better IMCs on the Dominators.

Also get black PCBs. biggrin.gif

Those are the basics. I could be wrong though.

Na, your right! The Dominators are just binned better. Higher quality.

But for that, I found some G.Skill Pi DDR3-1600 (6-8-6-20) @ 1.60v

Nothing beats Dominators. Hence 'Dominator'

I agree, but as of late, I've had to buy budget components. So I look for less expensive parts.
