Which motherboard for 1055t?

Thread Starter
Looking for some help selecting a motherboard for a new build. I'll openly admit to being a bit of a newbie so any advice is much appreciated.

CPU: 1055t
RAM: I was thinking, Kingston HyperX KHX1600C8D3T1K2/4GX (2x2GB) DDR3
GPU: ASUS HD6950 2GB
PSU: Antec Earthwatt 650

Cheers.

Also probably should mention I'm not really looking to spend a fortune so nothing like the Cross IV extreme. I was thinking something along the lines of:

ASUS M4A87TD USB3

Asus M4A88TD-M EVO USB3

Asus M4A89GTD PRO MB

Gigabyte GA-790XT-USB3

Full ATX board with 8+2 or quality, heatsinked 4+1 VRMs is the best choice for a 1055T. 1600Mhz RAM would be an absolute for reaching 4GHz.

Unfortunately being in Australia means those prices are a little higher for me. I think I'm gonna go with the Gigabyte GA-790XT-USB3 with some G.Skill Ripjaws F3-16000CL9D-4GBRM (2x2GB).
Thanks for the suggestions.

Since when?
Kingston kits work just as well on AMD as any other kit. You should be basing your judgments on real facts i.e. what exact ICs are used on the chip, not memory branding. And so far no IC has any specific conflict with AMD platforms. I say if he wants to go with the Kingston kit, he should go for it, because it is going to work fine.

The G.Skills work out slightly cheaper though. Are the Kingstons a better kit or is it also just the brand?

My original choice. Unfortunately the only place that list it (for a decent price anyway) are out of stock indefinitely.
