Some of you guys may already have read this. But I posted it here for the other guys to see.

Who cares about reviews? I wouldn't buy a product based on the review of a person who gets paid by companies to like their product. All these people like is anything with "Call of Duty" in the name. Homefront still seems better than any recent CoD game, but I'm not buying it since these types of FPS games are getting boring. I'll only be buying BF3, and only because i'm going to mess around with jets and eject and try and hit myself with the jet.. or others.. :>

My point exactly.

That's why I had nothing to say to that article

IDK man .. ive watched a lot of game footage trying to decide if I should get this game and to me it looks like...

Graphics are bad (for a 2011 PC game)
AI is super scripted and not in a good way
Gameplay looks like its "just ok"

I have not played the game but this is the impression I get from watching vids of it online.

It does look like there are some well made in game scenes though.

I don't own this game, but im thinking of buying it. I don't really care for multiplayer, but if its single-player campaign is good, I could re-play this a hundred times (like mass effect games)

There are a lot of FPS coming out this year and last year I was interested in a lot of them but over time my interest has just died down closer to release date (I think this is mostly due to uni taking up every waking hour of my day). Which is a shame because it would've been interesting to see what my opinion was on Homefront.

But I will say this; THQ seriously put a lot of its eggs into this game and so far it's not looking good which is a shame because the idea behind Homefront was very promising frown.gif

As of now though the only FPS I am actually looking forward to is Battlefield 3 and I haven't been this excited about a FPS since.. nope I can't remember the last FPS I actually got excited about. Maybe the original Battlefield 2 but I can't remember back that far tongue.gif

I would've thought Homefront would've done quite well for people waiting for Battlefield 3 to kill some time but I guess not.
