[TPU] AMD FX-Series CPU's Releasing on June 11th - Page 4

I hope its faster than 990x and I'll be happy. Nevertheless I still look forward to this with the high end Bulldozer and a 990FX board.

huh? i seriously don't know what you are trying to suggest. thubans run cold at 4ghz, there is no problem with heat I have no idea why you are talking about melting. there are no issues with vcore either, nobody has problems with vcore on thubans. i7s on the other hand are notorious for heat. what are you trying to say exactly? this may be a newsflash, but phenom IIs generally have no heat related issues.

I had fun with those. AMD went downhill once Wolfdale hit IMO. At this point in time I'd say AMD is lagging behind in both CPU and GPU markets. (See sig rig video card) I have an ATI and don't deny this.
And just where is this logic you are touting?First of all,AMD is lagging behind who in graphics?Second of all, judging a future processor on past performance sounds real logical to me.Thirdly, yes Intel will always have an edge in some benches because of their compilers.

and Bulldozer won't compete?

Don't feed the fanboys/trolls. I already made that mistake.

btw, I never said currently AMD cpus >Intel cpus, because that's a lie. Hopefully, it won't after BD debuts...
