I'm pretty sure that the 600T can accept a RASA 240 kit pretty easily. I don't know if that could cool a GPU+CPU loop well enough though.

Didn't see in mentioned (maybe I missed it), but the 600T has an option for a windowed/mesh side panel. I think it's $30 extra, unless you count the white limited edition, which has it included in the box. Not sure how much (more?) that'll cost when it comes out, though.

Because I don't want to spend $300+ on a real loop. Besides, what would the temp. difference be for my intended purpose?

The main purpose was to cool a 2500K or 2600K at 4GHz which is not very high of an overclock anyway which can already be well cooled on air. I suppose I could consider cooling something like a 5870 as well in the future, but was not the original intent. I also don't go for extreme overclocks. I suppose you could say if I spend more on cooling than the actual product such as the CPU it bothers me a bit. Plus I only have so much cash to work with and am saving some money to also do a bulldozer build for the wife when it comes out as well as saving money for a new car to hopefully acquire around labor day (not necessarily brand new, but within the past 3 or 4 years). Lucky for me she wants an SUV like an Element or CRV. Kind of expensive, but it could be worse.

Decided to nix the Fractal Design cases. They are clearly not conducive to water cooling and they also are not great for air cooling. For instance the top exhaust fan, which in fact is angled towards the closed top panel, actually uses the theory that it will push air out the back at an angle. In all the testing I have seen it does very little as it hits a wall and moves very little. If you remove the side vent area and put a fan their it helps cool the GPU fairly well. But, overall it is average at best and subpar for cooling. A real shame as it has a nice look to it. A true top exhaust fan and a similar additional intake fan would probably do the trick.

The Lancool has a lot of nice features, but reminds me of my Antec 900 a bit too much so I think I might toss it off my list.

The Corsair 600T and 700/800 D cases do not do well with air cooling. You would think the 600T would, but the stock fans are too thin (20mm) and don't move much air or provide much pressure to move the air. Plus the front fan does not seem to be replaceable with a 25mm version unless you somehow mount it to the hard drive cages. Fail. The top you can put two 120mm fans though in place of it's 200mm fan. And the 700/800 D cases while very feature rich as well are not good with stock cooling as well. There are no front intake fans. And the only one you can add on is one in the bottom and you better hope nothing is blocked. However, if you add fans to the top exhaust and replace stock fans with better ones it then gives average air cooling.

Granted, the 700/800 D and 600T were designed more in mind for water cooling. That is evident and welcomed by water cooling ethusiasts. The 650D seems to sacrifice some features to retain enough features of it's elder cases in a smaller design. If I decide to go the water cooling route I think these cases are worth considering. Otherwise they are not.

The Lian Li A70f & A71 are both decent. I don't necessarily like the hard drive spots in the top rear, but it seems they can be moved and maybe not have to be used at all? I can also get a new top panel with an exhaust If I so choose.

The NZXT has a lot of potential, but I think you would have to trick it out with all it's fan slots being used as well as getting dust filters for each intake fan. So hopefully they are easy enough to find as well as take out and clean. If someone has experience with this let me know. Alternatively a radiator can be mounted inside on the top.

The Silverstone FT02B seems to have a good air cooling system. Some minor gripes such as some of the plastic being used in conjunction with aluminum, cannot put multiple GPU cards in this case without risk of tight space. Also, I hear Silverstone still has problems mastering slots for optical drives. For all the money this case cost you would think they would have fixed that, made it all aluminum, and easier to access the top panel with a quick release as well as the side panels, and sleeved the wires in the case. And of course I would not water cool with this case.

I suppose to help me eliminate my next round of choices is to water cool or not to water cool my 2500K (may upgrade to 2600K)? 4.0GHz is my only goal which is fairly low for the CPU and can do it with the stock fan. So would I be able to cool it much more than I could with a good air cooler versus a good air flow case and either an H70 or Silver Arrow? And is there a good reason to?

People seem to get stable oc's of their 2500k above 4ghz on air.

If you are going to WC a 2500K/2600K @ 4.0, DON'T! A Noctua NH-D14 or Thermalright Silver Arrow can push it up to 5.0 so WC @ 4.0 is meaningless.

H70 gets spanked by the two air coolers mentioned above but I just won't consider because of the price-performance ratio when compared to air.

Self contained liquid coolers are meaningless (Antec H2o, Corsair Hydro series, Coolit, Asetek), if you want liquid, run a RASA kit with distilled water, but then again you don't need it.

Fractal Define's are not that good for cooling but their Arc Midi tower is amazing. I'm not a fan of NZXT's stormtrooper looks so no, A70f/A71f are your best bet, WC ability while not sacrificing air cooling a bit. And trust me, Lancool cases are built like tanks, exactly like Lian Li but with steel.

Take your pick:
Lian Li Lancool K63 (newer model to the older K62, black interior, usb 3, good cable management)

Lian Li P50/P50WB

Lian Li B25F

Lian Li B25FWB

Lian Li A70F

Lian Li A71F

Fractal Design Arc Midi Tower

Fractal Design Arc XL (When it comes out)

Corsair 650D (600t is all fat and rounded so 650d)

600t or the FT02 if you can swing it. My girlfriends PC is in the 600t and it is a great case, but if I were to get a new one it would be the FT02
