Well it's getting better, somewhat. I've played around in the BIOS and the drive isn't as crazy as it once was. It sometimes loses speed but not as drastically. Do you think I should cancel the RMA?

That is to say, I don't think the problem is totally gone but I don't want to pay postage if they find the drive to be fine.

HX650w FTW!!!! BTW I dont know how loud the drive is but my F3 also makes a grinding noise, very noticable when my rig is at idle. But it happens with like 1 second intervals in between.

Ah, screw it. This drive is ballsed up. RMA it goes. I'll make my friend pay the postage if it gets sent back.
