Using EVGA GTX 470 and three monitors... - Page 2

If you're not gaming on the alternate monitors why spend so much on a gpu, buy one that can handle two displays and be done with it. A 470 for an internet monitor should be a crime.

Or buy a matrox triplehead2go. Or another 470.

Thanks for the replies. Eventually, I'm going to start playing games heavily on the computer, so I want to be ready when that happens.

You will still need to SLI if you want to play games. There's no reason to spend money on a 570 becasue you can't SLI it with your 470. Buy the 470, use three monitors when not gaming in a non-SLI configuration and when you game, enable SLI and do your heavy gaming on two monitors. Two 470s in SLI can handle any game out there with awesome frames per second.

I went with AMD this generation and using 3 monitors with it is much easier.
