Asrock Warranty

Hey all. Was wondering if anyone knew how to register your products for AsRock warranty service or if you even need to register. I check their website and there is no warranty register information. Also their website says I qualify for an extra free year of warranty service. I contacted newegg where I bought it and they were just like idiots. I just don't wanna wait til I need warranty service and then find out that I had 30 days within purchase date to register or some crap. Thanks all.

Asrock warranty policy is that you must must go through the retailer where you bought it - There website states that you have to deal with RMAs through the retailer it was purchased from rather than ASRock itself. You dont need to register it, Newegg has your order information.

Edit:

If newegg wont help you with the rma you will have to pay Asrock 35$ to help you. Newegg should beable to tell you more information, but it depends on the rep you get.

"ASRock provide 1 year warranty service to Authorized Distributor, users should refer to the retailer or original vender RMA & Refund policy. If experiencing difficulties in warranty service through your dealer or place of purchase, ASRock will attempt to resolve this issue. For the motherboard that out of warranty, there is a $35.00 service charge + shipping for each item. ASRock America will only provide warranty service to ASRock products purchased within North America"

I'm not sure about how to register but i'm sure that the new B3 mobos will have 3 years + 1 additional year for warranty (or 2 years + 1 addition year) depend on the board i think.

Hmm, so how do I claim the free extra one year warranty from Asrock?

EDIT: and my board was one year plus another free year.

Well I don't know about this extra year, but no you don't need to register the product for the normal 1 year warranty.

If you have a problem within the first 30 days, you are suppose to return it to newegg (retailer), but after the retailers warranty thats when you use ASRock's warranty service.

I would call ASRock about this extra year thing, or email the tech people. They normally respond to me within 24 hours on business days.
