GTX 260 SLI or Asus 560 TI, Opinions wanted

Topic states it, I current am running GTX 260 in SLI, can only achieve 640 core clock speeds. If I sell them both I will get about $160-$180 for both of them, making the GTX 560 cost me $60-$80, making the question, is it worth the money for the upgrade? What do you guys think

only 640 on core lol that's pretty low and for the 560ti it depends on what games you play because gtx260 in sli...can pretty much handle any game, and are they evga cards? cause you can do stepup.

One of them are EVGA, which i purchased 2 years ago and other other one is BFG. The EVGA can go beyond 700 but BFG crashes past 640, leaving me at a 640 OC.

Yeah I would do it. Could always get another for sli later. Just remember they are only 2-way sli capable so if you ever wanted to run 3 then you would need to go a notch up to the 570.

Pretty happy with mine. I run both at 900mhz core for daily and they have went 975-995mhz core for benches. It pulls a 36,xxx gpu score in vantage with it in sli. Sli 280's my son had did a 24,xxx gpu score. His one 570 though can pull a 27,xxx gpu score by itself so that could be an option to look into instead of the 560 but talking more $.

I currently have 2 EVGA GTX260 Superoverclocked in SLI and I just purchased the Gigabyte 560 TI at 950mhz. If you want to run games that have tessellation and directx11 get the 560. I was debating between the 560 Ti and the Radeon HD 6950 and flash the Bios to a 6970. I play BF2 and waiting for BF3. With what I have seen so far if BF3 utilizes Physx I want to take advantage. So the 560 Ti it is! smile.gif
