A great idea I actually had it myself but a copper block would not fit into my Silver/Chrome theme...everything is Silver.

My case is the Extended Ascension brushed aluminum.
All my WC gear is silver Nickel/Chrome.

1 Copper asset would not be suitable.

But I am very much interested in the Koolance 370
I hope you people can give me some more results and comparisons with other blocks regarding the 370.

Sure, alright, sounds like a thought-out decision!

I've just got into watercooling so I'm no expert in all the various components available but from what I've read about the Koolance 370, it has very high flow and cools pretty much just like an EK Supreme HF. The Swiftech one doesn't perform as well, though. I'd go for the Koolance 370 if I were in your shoes.

Yeah unfortunetly there is only one half review of Skinnee about the Koolance 370.
It is also said that those marginal performance inferiority to the EK Supreme HF will be negated once you install another baseplate.

The Apogee XT rev.2 will perform just like the normal Apogee XT rev.2 just with better flow.
And it is known that the Apogee XT 3rd in the block ranking right after the EK.
It performs up to 1-1.5 degrees worse than the EK Supreme HF if I am not mistaken.
So I am not sure which block wins thermally betwenn Koolance 370 vs Apogee XT rev.2

But what I can say for sure is that according to the charts swiftech released the Apogee XT rev.2 has the best flow of all the blocks out there right now.
1 PSI pressure drop at 1 GPM is amazing and that with the original undropped thermal results of the normal Apogee XT make it a great block.
The only problem I am having with it is the looks compared to the Koolacne 370 it just has to little Nickel^^.

Other tests show the XT ahead of the HF by similar amounts... such a small difference... you'll really only notice looks after the install. It sounds like you want us to tell you the koolance lol.

Yeah you got that really quickxD

In my mind I want the Koolance but I keep telling myself what if the Apogee XT rev.2 beats it thermally and in flowrates?

So I reverse phsychologically want you to tell me to get the 370xDD
It is a great looking block.
But there still are no solid reviews on it.
And I need to give my retailer the info of what block I will take.
They have the 370 in stock but not the Apogee XT rev.2

So what do you say?
Will the 370 perform better than the Apogee XT rev.2 ?thermally and flowrates?

And what about the Kryos , EK vs 370 thermal comparison and EK vs 370 flowrate comparsion?

Hahaha I agree, I think you just want approval for the Koolance 370. I say you go for that one. You won't actually notice the performance difference as by the sounds of it, both are great water blocks. As a result, go for looks!
You have my blessing, my son!

I would get the Koolance 370.
The temp difference would be very small.

I just upgraded from an Apogee XT rev1 to a CPU 370 and the flow rate is massively improved, I estimate somewhere between 30-50% better. Soon I will be able to do a back to back test with flow meters and in/out water temp sensors at the CPU block with a new Aquaero 5 XT setup.

In early testing I am seeing a 6-7c improvement in CPU load temp and 3-4c idle temp. That's a massive improvement. I should mention I added another GTX 360 rad to make a total of 4 but that wouldnt account for such a big impovement as air/water deltas are only marginally better with the fourth rad. When my Aquaero arrives early April I will be able to do more testing.

50% flow increase for the 370 over the Apogee XT rev.2????

the Apogee is supposed to only have 1 PSI of pressure drop at 1GPM?oO
That is the least restrictive block out there I cannot believe your results?

But I will go for the 370 anyways because of great looks
Also I have a 1080 rad so everything will be fine with temps
