RuneScape on older notebook

Thread Starter
I was wondering about this but recently when I try to play RuneScape on my older notebook the auto detect settings doesn't work right. Basicly when I use it the screen stays black and I have to refresh the browser to load the game back. So basicly I had to leave the settings and then manualy select graphics to MIN since this is a 9 year old notebook. But why doesn't the game detect it and put it has MIN settings automaticly?

Here are the specs for my older machine

Sony PCG-R505ESP

Pentium III M 1.2gHz

768MB PC133 ram

40GB hard drive

Intel 82830M AGP 48MB video card

Yamaha Sound card

Windows XP Professional SP3

Te graphics on RS have to been through a major revolution and your Video card probably isn't in their list of Recognized hardware. Therefore there are no setting for it to "Auto Detect" It is seeing your card and going "***" Upgrade.
