Which brand for 6950 2gb - Page 2

Had powercolor for my first 3 (yes 3...) 5850's. The first two were reference and had GSOD issues, and the pcs+ one that was my 2nd replacement just didnt overclock very much at all... sold it and got my current one. THAT BEING SAID. Powercolor's RMA support was very good, Hugo (their US RMA guy) was very helpful and facilitated stuff fast as he could, XFX like ppl have said have slightly mixed records

thx for the input.

I noticed that sapphire had a card for $250 too. Any thoughts on that one?

Sapphire makes amazing cards. Fast, Well made, Great cooling systems.
Their Support is about the same as PowerColor. Sometimes a little better.
I would definitely choose Sapphire over PowerColor or XFX.

If its the same price I'd go for the Sapphire, that's a no-brainer ... but I have the PowerColor one and I'm extremely happy with it ... able to flash and is fully stable at 920/1400 @ just it's stock 1.1v .. awesome card

I ended up getting the powercolor. Support Taiwan! (sapphire and xfx are hongkong-based companies)

Grand total of under $215
