Pallet 580's? would you be afraid?

been looking at these would you guys be afraid of this brand? gonna get 2 for sli, loooong hard debate of this and two 6970's lol now gotta find a card that isn't a 3 slot hog cause i don't think the asus card that takes 3 slots will sli on the UD7 can anyone confirm this?? please!! lol help!

No way! The Geico Gecko would teach him about Geico policies and get him his own TV gig.

OT: The card has a 2 year warranty, so I don't see any reason not to go for it. I haven't heard any bad things about Palit. Seems they support custom coolers as long as you don't screw up the circuitry.

Palit are an established and respected company. There's nothing to be afraid of.

Their quality is on par with other companies and their prices are almost always lower. They were also one of the first companies to release a 2GB GTX460 and both their 1GB and 2GB versions sold very well.

Yeah, Palit's alright. Not regarded as one of the top-tier manufacturers, though. I think they're known as Gainward in Europe?

Their GTX 460s run a bit hot and had some controversy over some removed heatsinks, but I don't think they'd pull the same move on Nvidia's flagship card.
