How about jailtime for entities buying use of (and therefore promoting the creation of) botnets? I'd be all for that.

I'd like to see advertisers like doubleclick.net go down for spyware / malware....

I think they really need to step up to the next level and just put the foot in the real bad guys on the web...

No more tracking & No more malicious code would really make my day, seriously!

========================

One has to wonder, now that Internet has been out there for some time, if maybe some of these very big corporations created all this adware / spyware / trackware to see how people on the Internet would use the net & then develop ways in the background how to deal with the bad guys or wrongful uses of the Internet.. I look at where we are going now, kind of backwards it seems, if this wasn't all a very thick plot from the word go... The corporations paying hackers to try their best really has me wondering harder!

My theory about the spam is tracking what people do online, so if they go to a porno site, they would get a junk mail for Penis enlargement, or what have you, silly huh?

That's my conspiracy theory anyway... (Yeah I'm half-baked like that!)

They have logged this post and you location on the planet. Fortunately, they consider this post inconsequential because they know no one will believe it. It's a funny world we live in my friend.

I've always wondered how much electricity is wasted worldwide because of spam email. I also wonder how much paper is wasted from normal spam mail. I swear I receive 10 advertisements for stuff I don't even care about for every legitimate piece of mail I receive.
