Moving RAID array?

Thread Starter
Shortly I'm going to have to migrate my RAID0 from my EP45T to my MSI P67A. Are there any tricks I need to know going in or is it as simple as reconnecting the array on the new MB? Thanks.

yes this would be great to know... also, can you do the same thing with a software raid?

You're going to have to rebuild the array and reformat.

So best bet is just to clone my array onto a regular HDD then restore it once I have rebuilt/reformated the array?

If your os is on the array you will have to reformat.
New architecture, new chipset won't get recognized.

The array is just for storage, OS will be a fresh install on a new SSD

Just make sure it's on the same controller and it should be fine. Doesn't matter which plugs first, and have the latest drivers from intel.

Is the old mobo using intel or jmicron ports for the array?
