Failed Prime95, but passed next few days?

How is it possible? I failed prime95 and had a "fatal rounding error" a few weeks ago....

I kept using the computer, and now it doesn't fail.

I had it overclocked a while ago to 3.7ghz (Phen. II x4 965) but got some errors and ended up having to reformat my windows 7.

I did a clean install and when it failed, everything was stock, except for RAM which was on the manufacture settings....

Only other thing I did was put it a new power supply......

I don't think it's the RAM, because I ran about 3 passed with memtest86 and it passed 100% no errors.

Could it possibly be the CPU or Power supply? Like I said everything it stock, could I have damaged the CPU with all the overclocking I did for the past year? Or the power supply? Everyone seems to say the fatal rounding error is related to not enough voltage, again though, I'm stock...

And I have two ATI 4890's but I don't think it's related to them. When I had my Corsair 750TX back inside this computer last year, I ran everything stock with no errors.

So I figure its CPU, Power supply, or motherboard. I'm going to reset the CMOS, and try ONE more format on both my harddrives (erase everything) and see if that works.

I even reseated my RAM last time to release the magnetic charge and cleared the CMOS before reformatting but it still ended up failing on stock BIOS settings (no overclock) which I found incredibly odd because it never did it before, and the only recent addition to my computer has been this hec XP1080 power supply , which makes me question, because my CORSAIR 750TX was very reliable...

Thanks.
