Thoughts on my choice of Keyboard/Mouse? - Page 2

razer blackwidow/steelseries g6v2 plus g500 or a g9x if you can find one cheap enough, mouse pad razer goliathusA works perfectly with both mice and comes in various sizes.

Decent keyboard if you play fps games (I own one), didn't like it for SC2 though, the combination of low profile and slightly nonstandard keys lends to some mispressed keys.

As far as the keyboard goes, I just want it to have a good backlight and fit my price range, and I just love the 26 key rollover, so the X4 was my choice.
I've said it already, but the keyboard is excellent. The only rubber dome worth buying.

If you look at the lovely sticky in the mouse section, you'll see that the NAOS 5000 and G500 have essentially the same sensor. There's no difference since they share the same flaws (positive acceleration), so your decision has be based on which one you think is prettier or price (you'll also notice that according to this chart, the deathadder is the best choice ). here's the link to the sticky. http://www.overclock.net/mice/854100...nce-sheet.html

don't listen to people talking down to the mionix naos 5000, I guarantee you will love it if you use a palm grip.

I am coming from a Logitech G7 been a great mouse for many years except for the comfort. The edge on right side hurts my ring finger. After checking all different reviews and the G9 in person which is the same size as G9x.I went with the mouse you picked also.My Mionix is supposed to be delivered on the 22nd but hit local terminal today so hopefully I will have it tomorrow.I will post back when I get it.

For the keyboard I am using a Saitek. It's junk but lasted a few years tho. After checking out the differences in mechanical and dome I have decided to splurge on a mechanical soon and suggest you do the same even if you have to save a little longer.

been using logitech keyboard/mouse for almost a decade
mices:
Mouseman Dual Optical (1600dpi optical resolution) (still working but retired since 2006 - worked for 4 years as primary mouse)
Mediaplay cordless (been used as "media center remote" - 2nd/backup mouse)
in 2008 i bought a MX Revolution and then i had found my dream mouse (still working but only when the g9x is useless)
now running on a G9x (great but i miss the 2nd scroll and confort of the revolution)
--------
as for keyboards
i don't remember all the models but
had a black elite (PS/2)
a G15 gaming keyboard
and some others before those 2
now currently asking myself about the G510 or G110
but... best way to find out if you like or not is to try

gave the G15 to my brother (needed a working keyboard lol) so i got myself a lil i-rock KR6710 white wich is messing with me
lovely silent/slim keyboard but... i miss the G15...

so go with your hearth... what was the best keyboard/mouse you already possessed and check for its newer version, if it's still suits you, if yes then buy and love... if not, check other
