Gaming laptops are great for college kids. Solid performance, able to take it to class (15") and relax in their dorm with a game.

I'm not one of those though, gotta have my desktop .

I have the 310m (or was it 320m) model. MS is such a low end game, my netbook with 1.6GHz single core Atom with integrated graphics runs it perfectly with no lag, even at bosses.

And on CSS i can probably get 2.5 to 3 hours on my mac. I got like 2.5 playing MW2.

I see a lot of new military kids with lap-desks at Starbucks and internet cafes here on Oahu. I'm personally looking for a travelling desktop for deployments. My M11x is alright, but i find myself constantly missing my desktop while playing older games. I think I'll forgo this year's annual upgrade in favor of a Sager, that is if they become available before i head out the door again.
