got bsod at ^^ settings when i reached desktop

gonna revert back to setting i had for 3.8ghz any other suggestions?

well good news when i reverted back my ram timings went to 8-8-8-21 without kingston should i put them back?

btw if this is my limit should i just not overclock it since im at 1.4vc for 3.8 and reinstall my kingston?


timing went back to 9-12-12-30 :@

Do what you feel is within your range of comfort, if you're getting the BSOD, bump the voltage slightly and see if it fixes the problem. Otherwise 3.8Ghz isn't bad at all

1.4 is quite safe. I've been running mine at 1.4 for over 4 months now

DON'T OC.
Cheap 4+1 phase. OC-ing on that board is a VERY BAD IDEA. You will BLOW YOUR BOARD with any OC!

You will need a new board for any OC

The 630 is a 95W CPU. The 1100T is a TDP heavy 125W CPU and on a weak power phase is just not appropriate/safe. You can read the orange link in my sig (About VRMs & MOSFETs) for more info.

The M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 (if you're willing to blow about $150) will experimentally support AM3+ from ASUS.

You will want to return everything to stock for now, maybe undervolt a few notches, to make sure you don't blow anything on your mobo.
