Hey,

I want to build a DAW using my Infrasonic Quartet soundcard, Ive been doing some audio recording of piano play with my ATM450. IQ got one balanced mic input, 48V phantom. What I want to do is add another recording channel with AE3000 on the line in so im going to need a preamp. And here is my problem, can I connect a preamp to a line in (second input on my IQ soundcard) both input channels are stereo inputs if Im right these are balanced inputs not 2 channel inputs (left and right) if you can confirm that I'd be very happy because I found nothing on this, I even wrote to manufacturer but they dont really care about my problem. So ATM450 goes in IQ mic input and AE3000 in preamp to line in, will this configuration work and get me a 2 channel recording? I have not purchased the preamp yet, if you could recommend me one it would be great. I was looking at this Behringer MIC 200 or anything in this price range (80$). I want to help my friend who is a pipe organ artist, none of his work was ever recorded.

Thank you in advance
