Thread Starter
I bought a eee pc and now my screen is broken so i called asus to get the price for a new. I live in denmark so the prices are a little different. but if we say i paid 300$ for my eee pc then for a new screen i have to pay from 300-400$.

Who the hell would do that?

What about the screen is broken?
Physical damage = eh but if the backlight is out or something you can replace it yourself.

Buy the new one, sell the old one for parts.

Probably a better move given that the first one had problems.

Anyhoo, what happened to the screen? You can probably find a screen and replace it yourself without too much trouble for relatively cheap (definitely less than the cost of buying a new one).

Though tbh, if you had to get a new netbook now, it's not a bad time with the release of the AMD Brazos platform. I wouldn't get the same one of what you got before.
