meh my car has aftermarket ECU management, and is in no way tied to my audio system. would only be a possible issue with later cars with the audio control module tied in with the PCM/ECU. also the car would have to have a bluetooth module. so again.. meh.

Thread Starter
I recently read in an article about an actual plan of attack against America by a third world country where they would use a special device to disable/kill electronics, like something out of the movie transformers...

Could you imagine one day waking up to find your computer & car's electronics toasted?

I can...

Cassette tape to 3.5mm headphone jack connected to iPhone = win. Too bad no cars sold today have a cassette deck anymore.

Wasn't there a thread on here about how the dealer thought that pirated music was the cause of the car failing, owned by a poster here? Guess the dealer was right, lol.

Or embed/code it in when they create the MP3. Lame hack is not lame but quite dangerous.

You forgot the word yet. If it's software it's hackable, if it's connected it's only a matter of time.

The NSA, CIA, homeland security, MI5 &6, etc. are third world countries? They certainly have the budgets that dwarf some but I wouldn't call them 'countries'.
