I was working on a backup script the other day and created a loop, ending up with a bunch of empty folders in a "chain". How do I delete these? I've tried using the long path name workaround (UD-8 or whatever it is called), it asked me to select yes and did not show an error, but also did not delete the path. I've tried deleting and shift deleting in explorer but always returns path name to long for destination (trash).

How do i get rid of this path?

And for clairification, the path is somethign like:
d:\\folder1\\folder1\\folder1\\folder1\\.........f older1\\ this might repeat ~20 times. The last folder will not open and right clicking does not contain the normal delete, properties, rename, etc. I cannot delete the folder directly before it. I get no error message, but it does not delete when I delete it.
