Pleased after overclocking a C2D E7300!

Thread Starter
So, I just overclocked my E7300 from 2.66GHz to 3.2GHz
No voltage increases, I've been testing for stability the last 3 hours and it seems to be pretty much fine.
I ran SuperPI, OCCT both tests and I'll probably be running prime95 overnight to ensure long time stability.
Temps are 61-62 at full load on Intel stock cooler and 40-43 at idle.

Before overclocking, my GPU Usage on Dirt 2 was like 60%.
Now it's 90 - 100% and my fps jumped from 45-50 to 60 at all times.
Does that mean my CPU was bottlenecking my GPU?
It's fine :)

With the stock cooler you could possibly do 3.4 or 3.6Ghz depending on how much CPU voltage you would need. I think 3.4Ghz will work with about 1.26v, maybe less.

Well, I'll think about it. I just wanna be on the super safe side. 60 degrees is what I aim for .
Anyway, my question is "was my E7300 bottlenecking my GPU?"
It's fine :)

No an E7300 does not bottleneck a GTS450.
