[LR] Rosewill Thor XL-ATX Case Review

Rosewill is a well known brand that is sold and owned by no other than Newegg. In the past they have made some budget products that most enthusiasts would not consider; this has changed as of late. A little while back, Legit Reviews got a chance to take a look at the Rosewill Armor Gaming Case and it was more than enough to earn our Editor's Choice award. Today we get to look at the Rosewill Thor; their brand new gaming case designed for the high end gaming systems of today which could incorporate XL-ATX boards for 4-way SLI with cards like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 or 4-way Crossfire with cards like the AMD Radeon HD 6970. The Rosewill Thor is also the least expensive XL-ATX case on the market, coming in at $149.99 with a 1 Year Warranty.

The Source

Please keep the Rosewill bashing to a bare minimum. Constructive comments only.
If it's one thing that is for sure; Rosewill's products have varying levels of quality. Not everything is good, and not everything is bad with them.

Watched the video and it looks like a great case for airflow and cable management. The only thing I personally don't like is how they copied the alienware fins on top.

I think with the Challenger case Rosewill finally dispelled the notion of crap products,as well as their green series PSU's.This is another fine example, and much underrated.

Copied Alienware? Check out this case.

This is actually a pretty nice looking case. I would call it a HAF contender in everything but name, assuming quality is up there as well. ATX looks tiny in that, and it supports miniITX even.

I just love when these things support miniITX, I cannot image just how small a mITX mobo would look in one of these things, it would be quite ridiculous.

The rosewill thor is the aerocool xpredator oem sold under a different brand, aerocool didn't intend to bring the case to the US so rosewill picked it up.

he case is the same as the Thor, just has a painted interior and such. However yeah they did copy alienware kind wish the also had the vent motorized lol.

Other than that the case seems pretty good actually.

Its funny that you posted this because I just came across the Thor on Newegg today.

I wonder if it can fit an SR-2, if not, modified?

My simile: mITX in this Thor would look like a postage stamp on the corner of a manila folder:cool:
