Sapphire 6950's - Crossfire Yes or No? - Page 3

Yes, you'll get almost double fps. I get 70fps in Heaven Benchmark. Almost double my 2x 5770 setup and double a single 5870. So you'll equal one 6970.
The flashing I don't know about through experience but I'd flash one to see. Or add another post about that specific topic. Maybe in the Sapphire 6950 Owners Club.

I need a MB, CPU an some mem first...struggling with what I want...Maximus IV/ 2600k CPU or a P6X58D Premium/i7 960 CPU. The 1155 boards have the sweet SATA III 6gb contollers but I have to run the GPU's in 8x8x or the 1366 that I can run 16x16x but have crappy SATA III 6gb Marvell 9128 controllers. I'm really struggling with which way to go.
