Id dump the coolant, then flush the loop out with pure distilled water, then id make sure that there is a opening so if you have a fill port or your res has a lid open it and leave it off. That way any left over water can evaporate

Would probably be worth it to drain the loop and remove the tubing since its cheap and replaceable last thing you would want is something to grow if there is any humidity. Not sure how well a 99% alcohol rinse would work but that would for the most part insure you that there is no more water in any of the blocks or rads.

Also on another note Thanks for your service d('.')d

I don't see any reason you'd even have to drain the loop. As long it won't be going below 0C where you will be storing it there is no difference between having the rig plugged in and on and in storage.

With pure distilled water and a good biocide no reason you can't simply leave it as is.

Agreed. Plus, if it's drained it might form a skin and as the water slowly evaporates and exits the loop, it might leave a icky skin (bad for temps). Or it could get dusty. Change the coolant now, run it a bit before you leave and it should be good to go when you get back.
