Actually, yes we DO have cold hard proof. You want it? Go play the demo. It's the same game. Or the "leaked beta".
Crytek has NOT had enough time to go back and completely rewrite the ENTIRE game code to allow DX11, proper graphical adjustments, or anything else we asked for. What you saw with the demo, is what you will get...PERIOD. Don't believe me, fine. Waste your $60.
Think about it though....just for a minute. Crytek couldn't even get us a PROPER PC demo. It was a freaking 360 demo!!! They don't care about PC gamers anymore, even though we're the ones that made Crysis what it is today.
But again though, they haven't had enough time since the demo was released (or the leaked beta even) to completely rewrite the entire game to allow what they promised. It will all be "patched in later". Which is unacceptable.
The new joke of this year:
"Dude I got a Dell!"
"Yeah, but can it run Crysis 2?"
"Yes, I can run it maxed out."
