DX11 covers both DX10 and DX11. Crysis on Very High in DX9 is the same in DX10 really.
Extreme tessellation will make a difference (Nvidia), hopefully not the barely noticeable DX11 you have seen with Metro.
I never opted to play Metro 2033 on less than Dx 11, but if Dx 11 is barely noticeable from Dx 9 on Metro 2033, then it would be another strike against those tech nerds who think that the quality of the game can be measured in Dx versions.

This is why I am disappointed with the lack of visual settings. Even with Crysis on my lowly sli 8600m GT laptop, the first the I cranked up was the Detail setting to reduce pop-in. I hate that more than anything. I don't know why Crytek thought "Max everything or nothing at all" is a good approach to PC gaming.

You can't tell in Metro, but it was one of the first four games or so to support DX11 a year ago. I don't hold the small amount of DX11 against them, Metro, Dirt 2, BC2 or AvP. I think this time, Nvidia probably wants extreme tessellation which will take time, but it will be awesome hopefully.

so far there isnt a not buggy complete game that will stress out a full maxed out pc (quadfire/sli, SB, full liquid etc) i thought Crysis 2 would be the one but alas
