Cool, let us know how it goes! I'm very curious to see how the USB issue turns out. I've never used one of those, so I don't know how much juice they pull, but the more I think about it, the more I'd start to suspect that as the culprit if my first post doesn't work.

Yes, burn Memtest to a disc and boot from it. I know it can be a lot of downloading, but it is worth it. And you will have that many more tools at your disposal for future problems, should they arise.

The advice about a restore point is good, but one that I often overlook because CCleaner will let you "backup" your changes to the registry so if it kills something you can add them back in later. But, like I said earlier, I've never had a problem with it causing trouble.
Yep. CCleaner is amazing.

Okay so i have done some poking around the BIOS and everything looks alright i guess - but here are a few things i saw which may or may not be right.

Bios Version F1 - (dont know if this is up to date)
BCLK - 99.80 MHZ
CPU Frequency - 3493.0 Mhz
Mem Freq - 1330Mhz
Total Memory - 8192 Mv
CPU temp 30c
Vcore - 1.212v
Dram Voltage - 1.536v

Mem Settings

XMP - Disabled (not sure if this should be disabled or not but it was???)
SPD Auto
Profile VTT voltage - 1.05v
Profile DRR 1.5v

Now as far as timings go - All of Timing A was on AUTO but Timing B was not auto it had alot of values - but i saw the 9-9-9-24 which looks right.

Product Specs

Product

SPD Speed
1333Mhz
Tested Speed
1600Mhz
Tested Latency

So yeah... not sure if this is right or not but how come mine arent at 1600Mhz and my XMP is disabled? would this be an issue at all??

Anyway trying CCleaner now - hopefully my Rams not fked.

Oh not sure if this is bad or not - but i looked in the USB bios settings and 2/3 of the USB3.0 setting was enabled -but Turbo Function for USB3.0 was disabled - so i decided to enable it. Im not even using USB 3.0 Anyway but i thought i may aswell enable it.

Will let you know how i go with Ccleaner, i havent had a Comp freeze in the last 4 hours or so, which is great, but im sure i've probably spoken to soon.

haha

Just don't do CCleaner out of sequence, and follow my steps as they're numbered and let us know how the driver re-install went. Also, try to enable the XMP and see what happens. XMP is listed in your RAM spec's you provided.

Hey mate, It did it again

This time just on the desktop screen with asus smartdoctor up and the internet connection Manager...

Any suggestions now haha? im not amazing at computers but that memtest looks kind of confusing to get working. Do i burn the program to a disc, and then go into boot settings when the computer starts up and get it to boot from disc? or something like that?

Cheers bud
