2 Say Old Computer System Freezes?

Thread Starter
Hey Guys, so i Just recieved my new system a few days ago - I picked all the parts from there site personally and they build and test the computer.

Now everything was packed perfectly and runs fine (to an extent).

The main Issue i have is that the system was quite frequently just Freezing. At the last minute i got them to switch the graphics card in the system from a Gigabyte 580gtx to the new ASUS 580Gtx DirectCUII. So i naturally decided to go update the drivers for the graphics card from the nvidia site. (266.58) i believe. This fixed the problem for about a day.

I switched the computer back on today and it got stuck on the black boot screen. (so i restart the computer again) - it boots up, i jumped on facebook and it freezes again. I

Its strange though because the computer is still running like all the fans and stuff seem to be running fine but the screen just freezes. And the blue LED Lights on my Razer Blackwidow ultimate Elite Keyboard turn off and the mouse becomes unresponsive. I tried taking them all out and plugging them back in but the computer was still Frozen.

If anybody could please help i would be very appreciative, I'ts not a huge problem that i can just fix myself without sending the computer back to them.

Also as i just typed the previous paragraph my mouse became unresponsive. Plugged it into 6 different USB ports and still didnt work. I i turned on my Alienware m17x laptop and plugged it into that and it works fine...... Could the USB ports or something be a bit unstable? or like the drivers outdated?
(And then my Internet stopped working which is also plugged into a USB

Ended up Restarting my Computer - Although my keyboard was still working so i was able to sa ve this post in a notepad.

Thanks Guys much Appreciated.

Oh - if it helps. the Peripherals connected are

Razer Blackwidow ultimate elite mechanical Keyboard
3G wireless USB stick (stable)
Microsoft Sidewinder X8
Logitech G35 Headphones (connected into USB port on the side of Keyboard) -(also tried it in a different port but it makes no difference)
