ah, that makes sense now.
Also, if you read his previous posts, his MOBO died, and when he returned it, he decided to upgrade since everything was already apart.
That's very different from going through the hassle of
A) Finding a buyer for your parts
B) Getting a good price
C) Be willing to take a loss of what you originally paid.
D) Taking the computer apart
E) Shipping parts
F) Buying the new gear
G) Putting everything back together
H) Hopefully breaking even or willing to pay the difference.
To only end up with a side grade. For some people it may be worth going through that trouble, for others like myself, I'd rather go through this when I will end up with a REAL upgrade in the end. ( Ivy Bridge 6 - 8 cores
) But that's JMO.
