Homefront tinytage and stuff/mini review

Thread Starter

Well I must retract Homefront is a legit game when you get it to work already 12 hours spent in the campaign .

I just wanted to use the music to see what it would be like

Campaign
Julian Casablancas the technician of the Goliath is in your group for the major part of the campaign thus being the most important part/character of the game.

The campaign is fun if you don't mind the voice not matching the lips sometimes and the hair of certain character just repeat itself so obviously making it looks dumb... it's just 5 hour long but it's not repeating itself over and over again .

Checkpoint are FAAAAR apart with arround 10-20minutes of gameplay between each of them. And is ratter frustrating when you die after 15 minutes of slaying Korean to try to accomplish a task just to die from a random rocket or grenade.

There's clearly some Call of duty's influence in it with grenade spamming of the enemy at your feet increasing with the difficulty you set the game at ... the slow motion explosion and door breaking/slow motion/kill the guy/explosion/your character isn't in slow motion and is faster than a cat on speed.

They got what would happen just right with most people being cowered and still hating the army for trying to free them because they could be killed for it.with some gross looking scene.

the AI is not that smart but is still aware of you if you breath in his neck but some places are just annoying when you JUST reach the door and immediately fires a rocket just at your feet one shoting you.

Multiplayer
Is a hell of a fun thing to play and 50ping is back even 30ping is there . it trump black ops in every aspect. Snipers are just as they should be and if you know the maps well enough it's easy to flank them while they are scoping their butt off to try sniping for no reason while they should attack positions in GC.

Apart from the all so annoying white phosphorus bomb spamming by idiots it's great. The 3 meter guy with a chainsaw freaked me at some point when you're not expecting him to fall off the fridge door tho...
GC is the only type of game worth playing cause of the camper fest of tdm and without BC wich is annoying I think.Vehicle are fun and aren't overpowered chopper is an ass to control tho .People flying it nose straight facing the ground and still keeping it in the air without falling is just stupid but not as stupid as the black ops one with infinite bullets !!!!1!!11!1111!!!!

Graphics
Pretty. Not everything is super High res but at least it's good looking . Playing it on very high without ambiant occlusion at 1920x1200 2xAA is easy enough getting arround 40-67FPS but with AO it crawl at a tremendous 26-34FPS

the game still isn't good enough to justify it's 46-50$ price point . it's a 40$ game max. But it'S fun nonetheless .

Any average FPS player will finish the campaign in three hours. I don't know how you managed to squeeze five hours out of it.
