Moving to Dell U2711 might need a little kick in gpu power

I am kinda torn apart and have no idea which path would be best for me

Should i add up another GTX 570 it would be MSI twinfreezr one for top card since it gets a lot hotter so a custom high quality cooler would help a lot. It would cost me 473$

Or go Sapphire Radeon 6950 2gb CF with custom coolers. Both of them would cost me 720$ but i am certain that i would get over 360$ for my used GTX 570 so going CF would cost me around 360$

I my country we have most of the stock moving slowly so going some stock cooler Asus, Xfx 6950 2gb would increase my chance for shader unlock?

Nvidia would need a lot more PSU power then Radeon, but offer a little less headache on drivers, but a little headache on bills. And from all i have seen 2gb vmemory is kinda a must when playing the super high resolutions! :O

Or should i try to control my upgrade bug and wait for 6XX and 7XXX series?

Need opinions!

You'd be fine with most games on that 570, if not, just SLI it. I ran my U2711 with my 5850 for a while, and it maxxed close to everything apart from Crysis and the like.

Oh, and it's a beautiful monitor.

I agree with Smokin. Try it and see how you like it. If you find the performance lacking, then SLI GTX 570 do pretty well even with only 1.2GB of VRAM in most games. Using Surround, I only find myself occasionally turning down AA in certain games, and only having to lower settings in Metro 2033 and Crysis. Other than that, it has been a smooth ride for the most part.
