Its definately worth the $5 that you can get it for. It has great balanced PVP, and PVE instances. Raids at lvl 30+ drop great loot, and it doesnt take that long to get there.

One hell of a game for $5...

Try the demo and you will see the emptiness.

My ignorence due to not playing it for much??? LOL

Game is this:

PvE: Get into group and run a mission. You grind the same maps that gets boring after afew times. (STOP PRESS, there was an update.... you can now grind solo)

PvP: Defiantly a really sweet system. I have to say i really enjoyed. But the class imbalance RUINS it. Tons of people going scout(Recon) so they can go invisible. If you have a team with more than 3 scouts.... you LOSE.... unless they have more scouts than your team

Practice arena = PVP with no rewards... pointless. (literally its a pvp map with red team / blue team and you just fight for how long you want... but no rewards).

To get into this pvp, you have to wait around for ages. Mostly like 5mins.... sometimes 10. Here is the forum post players taking the p*ss: http://forum.globalagendagame.com/ph...p?f=71&t=33098

Apparently the Conquest is the best thing ever cause you get vehicles and stuff. And the vids look sweet. But from first release, they valued this pvp system as a monthly sub. Then they reduced it to a 1 off payment that went from £35 down to £5.

I suppose if you want to spend £3 for another game you will not play after a while, go for it.

But omg, i cannot stress, use a disposable email for the demo account. No more emails pls hi-rez. I dont care about your 100th special offer on GA.

You really need to stop posting, because really, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

The demo may feel "empty" because people are split into different instances of "Dome City," so if you want to leave your instance to go to one where all of your friends/agency-mates are, you simply switch to that different dome. There are usually only about 50-60 people per dome, since it's primarily just a place to hang out while you're waiting to do quests - and again, you can switch between instances whenever you want to.

PvE: Not the focus of this game. It's primarily for you to play with friends and level up/get some gear, so the raids and missions are of course going to be the same 7-8 maps with varying difficulties, etc. It's kind of like, you know, every other MMO out there, where you get a group of people and raid the same maps, etc. over and over again.

PvP: You have no idea how the balance is with this game. First of all, it's RECON, not SCOUT. This isn't TF2. People go recon because they think they know how to snipe - also, stealth is USELESS. Absolutely, utterly useless. Obviously, you haven't played the game for more than a week, or you'd know that everything has a counter to it and anyone actually using stealth in a PvP match is either a) a bad player or b) not a high enough level to use targeting system. And the sheer fact that you think more recons = a larger chance to win a match tells me that you haven't played this game for at least 6-8 months, cause the large majority of recons in this game are terrible.

And team compositions are balanced - you won't go up against a team with 5 recons and the other with 3. Same number of each class per match. The PvP is extremely balanced in this game, I know because i've been playing it for quite some time and they've tweaked classes and skillsets over the course of the past year. In fact, patch 1.4, due out in a couple of weeks, includes a new raid, PvP maps, flair, rewards, etc. and also includes some changes to the Medic class' skill tree.

Practice Arena: You're complaining that a PRACTICE arena, where the sole purpose is TRYING OUT different weapons and builds/skills, does not give loot? IT'S NOT THERE FOR LOOT OR REWARDS. IT'S THERE FOR YOU TO PRACTICE.

Finally, there is no "Conquest" system. That was around during the first, what, month or two? It really shows how very, very little you know about this game. So much has changed (the game is over a year old now), but you act as if you know what you're talking about, like you've given the game months and months of play and can reasonably come to a conclusion about the gameplay mechanics or the content this game has to offer.

I feel bad for anyone actually taking your opinion into account when making a purchasing decision with regard to Global Agenda.

As we worked on Warzones we found too many design and programming issues to make it practical. Global Agenda was designed around 10v10 team play and there was no practical path found to scale it up in a significant way

We can’t transform Global Agenda to a large scale battle format but since we liked this concept a lot, we decided to create a new game based on large scale fighting
As in we give up on GA. We are only focusing on Tribes 2.
