Looks nice inside the case though since it all matches

Since when is G. Skill considered generic ram? I hope nobody is judging it simply because it lacks heatspreaders which have been proven to be nothing more than cosmetic and protection for noob fingers touching the ICs. They don't offer any heat reduction if there's any airflow at all.

xd_1771 says that all RAM at 1333 is generic RAM.... read through his reasoning and you will order better RAM:p

Almost there. Tack CL9 to the end of 1333 and then you're right. It's a generic bottom-end specification, thus it's generic RAM. The only place you should be using this kind of RAM is in prebuilts - because custom-built RAM with 1600Mhz or otherwise better settings is usually always available for the same or lower price. With RAM prices taking an upwards trend now due to Japan though (it's starting to become noticeable), I dunno...

Customer got duped. That is a weak set up for $600. Pretty sure you can build a 69502gb/amd quad set up for $600.

With a budget like that, you're likely to get mobos that blow up trying to run quads at stock. Ask xd.
